Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms offered beautiful views across the harbor and had good amenities like WiFi and a decent-sized TV. However, the room decor was dated and cleanliness was lacking, with stained carpet and chipped paint. The service was exceptional, with friendly and knowledgeable staff willing to go the extra mile to assist. The location was excellent, especially for those who love Ullapool, with magnificent views. The dining area felt outdated and more suitable for quick catering, which was a letdown given the potential in the bar area. Overall, a stay with highs and lows.
The hotel rooms were very tired and old-looking, with an extra cost of £10.95 per room that I feel should be included in the room rate. The service, however, was very friendly and attentive, especially in the hotel bar. The location had a cracking sea view, but the staff seemed uninterested. The dining experience fell short, with a poor breakfast service and high prices. Despite the flaws, the hotel is in Ullapool with fantastic bay views.
The hotel offers lovely big rooms with views over Ullapool Harbour, but they could use some maintenance. Although the location is central, it can get noisy at night. The service was a mix of rude and welcoming experiences, with housekeeping being a highlight. The dining options, while satisfactory, could improve in cleanliness and timing. Facilities were average, considering the price point.
The hotel was a bit tired but served our needs well overall. The rooms were a bit dark and cold initially, but they warmed up. The service was mixed, with some unwelcoming interactions but great food. The location was convenient for our ferry trip, although cleanliness could be improved. The dining room had an outdated vibe, but the food was decent. Overall, a satisfactory stay with room for enhancement.
