I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms offered beautiful views across the harbor and had good amenities like WiFi and a decent-sized TV. However, the room decor was dated and cleanliness was lacking, with stained carpet and chipped paint. The service was exceptional, with friendly and knowledgeable staff willing to go the extra mile to assist. The location was excellent, especially for those who love Ullapool, with magnificent views. The dining area felt outdated and more suitable for quick catering, which was a letdown given the potential in the bar area. Overall, a stay with highs and lows.
The hotel rooms were very tired and old-looking, with an extra cost of £10.95 per room that I feel should be included in the room rate.
